Project: Food Maven  - "Mobile Marketing Integration Pitch"
Role: Marketing Manager (academic)

Brief: Food Maven is a Colorado Springs-based startup company (with an office in Denver) that is focused on creating a marketplace for the roughly 40% of food that gets thrown away in the United States. Food Maven acquires "high-quality local oversupplied and imperfect food" from distributers and manufacturers and redistributes it to places like restaurants, schools, non-profits, etc. They take the un-used food and warehouse it until they can find a local buyer who can use the food. If they don't find a buyer before the food goes bad then they donate the food to local non-profits, shelters, and food banks.  They are in the process of expanding nationwide, and asked students to create a mobile marketing campaign pitch for their business. The assignment assesses their current cross-channel marketing, and pitches how they could add mobile marketing into their marketing mix to enhance their overarching business objectives.
